A NEW Two Piece Creation!  The choice of container will be a rustic wooden crate (13x18x9H, natural tone) that participants fill with freshly cut mixed evergreens and accent with natural elements such as sedum, hydrangea and dogwood.  A trip to the "Accent Buffet" will allow participants to choose three additional accents for personalization. Next, participants will design a door swag to match!  The same evergreens and accents will be used, arranged in a fan fashion and all tied with a beautiful bow.  The two pieces can be used separately or as a combo at the front door. Please allow 2.25 hours for this multiple project workshop.
  • Sunday November 08, 10:00 a.m. A simple, tall, square plastic black pot (16”) will be filled full using a 3 foot cut evergreen top resembling a wee Christmas Tree (you can add lights to it when you get home), quality mixed evergreens (pine, BC Silver Fir and Cedar), magnolia, dried hydrangeas, one super-sized pine cone and metal stake to hang our new LED old-school lantern to guide friends and family to your porch. This will be a BIG feature in your outdoor Winter décor that will last throughout the Winter! Updated photo that includes the lantern (and not the cabin shown) will be posted soon.

The remainder of the fee will be payable upon arrival to the Workshop) A NEW Collaborative Workshop – "Woven Wonder" Saturday March 23, 1:00pm We’ve created a  new project in collaboration with “The Branch Ranch” in Warkworth and we think you will love it!  The first hour of this hands-on workshop will be working with Jessica to create a willow woven obelisk that will sit on the rim of a country/modern chic square planter consisting of black metal and reclaimed wood.  While learning weaving techniques she will also guide you to make a small willow birdnest.  Next, Vikki will take over and guide participants in planting a Spring arrangement full of ranunculus, pre-sprouted hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, fluffy ferns, trailing ivy, blooming calandivia, pussy willows and foliage fillers.  The birdnest, nestled with a few faux eggs and birdies, will tuck in for a magical Springtime design! Total height of the planter is 22”; the wooden planting vessel can be separated from the metal base to be used as a tabletop planter or the whole unit can styled as a compliment to your furniture.  A unique design! To register for this Workshop, a $20.00 + HST non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The remainder of the fee will be payable upon arrival to the Workshop.

Friday March 13, 1:00 p.m. Bring a friend or student who is off on this Friday PD Day to our fun workshop where two projects are made.  This workshop is appropriate for anyone 5-99 years old!  Only you?  No problem, you can do both projects and we can help if you require assistance. In the theme of Spring participants will fill these two tin planters (one is a watering can, the other an oval) with a selection of pre-sprouted bulbs such as tulips, daffodils or hyacinths, small ferns and houseplants along with accents of pussy willows and moss.  These planters are for indoor decor now, but could be redesigned for outdoor use once the weather warms up. As always, care, advice and education will be discussed as the group works alongside your host, Vikki and the Design Team.

NEW SPRING WORKSHOP - YOU CHOOSE YOUR STYLE! Thursday April 02, 6:00 p.m. or Saturday April 04, 10:00 a.m. A classic beige ceramic footed planter is the container in this unique workshop. It is 8" round and 5" tall - perfect for the centre of the Easter table or to give as a beautiful hostess gift. Your choice (upon registration) will be to make your design a planted one featuring potted plants such as calla lilies, ranunculus, ivy, ferns, spring bulbs and more or to make a fresh flower arrangement (in water) with an abundance of cut flower stems such as lisianthus, stocks, spray roses, eucalyptus and more.  Your designers will be Vikki for the folks who decide to plant and a certified florist for those who decide to make a fresh arrangement. Both designs will be happening at the same time in each session - it will be fun watching each group be creative! Lots of colour choice for both styles will be offered as well as bonus accents like pussy willows, decorative moss (planted version) and seasonal decor picks. Photos here show inspiration for both projects; plants and cut flowers may be slightly different.  Be assured, your arrangements will be beautiful!
  • NEW! We sourced a 9” tall classic metal table top urn with a white vintage patina and thought how pretty it would be with mixed evergreens and natural accents.  A new workshop idea was born! In this workshop we will offer an option of adding a simple white taper candle or a decorative element as the focal point and then build around it with fresh, fragrant evergreens such as white pine, BC Cedar, boxwood and aborvitea.  An array of accents will be offered so each arrangement is unique to your style. With good watering, this fresh evergreen arrangement will last well into the new year. A full photo of the project will be posted once all materials arrive.

  • Sunday November 15, 1:00 p.m. NEW!  A 30” tall black metal scroll stand has a 12” round metal planter that settles in and that is the container for this workshop.  It’s an elegant look and the accompanying arrangement you make will elevate that further! Amid the mixed greens we add in as a base, groupings of lush pinecones, pods, stumps of birch and faux berries will become the main feature.  This will be a very accent heavy design, with the fresh evergreens as the accent, not the other way around, as we usually offer. We suggest this arrangement best to sit under a covered porch or awning area (outdoors), therefore snow cover hiding the beautiful accents will not be a worry.  This is an OUTDOOR Arrangement and not suited to indoor decor. Photo of completed arrangement to be posted soon.

A new design!  In this workshop participants will make two moss kokedama balls with pre-sprouted mini daffodils, jute string, curly willow and other decorative and dried flower accompaniments.  Each moss ball will sit on a simple clay saucer.  They can be displayed together, or separately in your home. If you get excited and wish to make more, time allows for additional kokedama balls to be made in the workshop for $22.00 each, payable at the end of the session. While one of these sessions will be held during March school break, it is not recommended for young children.  Appropriate ages for this workshop are 10-99 years. NOTE:  Photo and project idea courtesy of Van H Acres, BC.  While the concept is the same, the Griffin's version will be slightly different than pictured.

A NEW WORKSHOP!    We’ve found a supplier to recreate the metal angel we made popular in our area in the 1990’s!  This black metal three-dimensional angel frame stands 34” tall and has a ring at mid-height for a 10" pot to sit; our project is to design an evergreen arrangement in the accompanying pot that will become the focal point of this beautiful addition to your outdoor Winter décor.  Amongst the mixed evergreens we’ll use, accents will be offered:  pinecones, natural pods, faux berries and more. Your angel can be a feature this season and in other seasons too – how pretty will it be with the pot filled with pansies amid your tulips next Spring?  Don’t miss out – we have limited angels for this new design project! NOTE:  Our project for this workshop will be larger than pictured.  Full project photo to be posted when all materials are on-site.

Saturday March 28, 1:00 p.m. Pantone has named Cloud Dancer as the Color of the Year for 2026. Described as a soft, airy, and billowy white, this shade is intended to offer a "whisper of calm" and a serene, neutral foundation to combat a chaotic world, emphasizing quiet reflection and intentional simplicity.  Participants in this workshop will experience the calm in the creation of a beautiful white and green arrangement in a milky white 10” glass planter. A double stem orchid plant will be the feature and surrounding it will be a selection of white blooming accent plants and soft green foliage.  A sweet "tweet" white ceramic bird figurine will be nestled amongst the plants, along with decorative moss. Beautiful!  Do note that is workshop has been created in the spirit of the Colour of the Year, there will not be any traditionally “colourful” plants included in this workshop, only tones of white and green. This is an elegant planter for indoor decor, perhaps on a kitchen island or dining table. As always, care, advice and education will be discussed as the group works alongside your host, Vikki and the Design Team.
