  • This is a newly added workshop!  Saturday November 14, 1:00 p.m. In a 23" tall square red and black tin planter participants will add a small cut evergreen tree as the focal element.  Layers of fresh and fragrant evergreens will be added (pine, cedars, boxwood, silver fir) to create a full and lush arrangement. Dogwood will add an element of height and drama and a trip to our "Accent Buffet" will offer an additional 5 pods, pinecones or other accents to completely personalize the arrangement. This beautiful arrangement will last outdoors until March as a classic Winter display.  And, off-season, this funky container can be used as a drinks holder or spray paint it to create a fun Summer planter! The top bucket does detatch from the legs for easy transport.
  • This is a newly added workshop! A NEW WORKSHOP!    We’ve found a supplier to recreate the metal angel we made popular in our area in the 1990’s!  This black metal three-dimensional angel frame stands 34” tall and has a ring at mid-height for a 10" pot to sit; our project is to design an evergreen arrangement in the accompanying pot that will become the focal point of this beautiful addition to your outdoor Winter décor.  Amongst the mixed evergreens we’ll use, accents will be offered:  pinecones, natural pods, faux berries and more. Your angel can be a feature this season and in other seasons too – how pretty will it be with the pot filled with pansies amid your tulips next Spring?  Don’t miss out – we have limited angels for this new design project! NOTE:  Our project for this workshop will be larger than pictured.  Full project photo to be posted when all materials are on-site.
  • NEW! We sourced a 9” tall classic metal table top urn with a white vintage patina and thought how pretty it would be with mixed evergreens and natural accents.  A new workshop idea was born! In this workshop we will offer an option of adding a simple white taper candle or a decorative element as the focal point and then build around it with fresh, fragrant evergreens such as white pine, BC Cedar, boxwood and aborvitea.  An array of accents will be offered so each arrangement is unique to your style. With good watering, this fresh evergreen arrangement will last well into the new year. A full photo of the project will be posted once all materials arrive.

  • Sunday November 15, 1:00 p.m. NEW!  A 30” tall black metal scroll stand has a 12” round metal planter that settles in and that is the container for this workshop.  It’s an elegant look and the accompanying arrangement you make will elevate that further! Amid the mixed greens we add in as a base, groupings of lush pinecones, pods, stumps of birch and faux berries will become the main feature.  This will be a very accent heavy design, with the fresh evergreens as the accent, not the other way around, as we usually offer. We suggest this arrangement best to sit under a covered porch or awning area (outdoors), therefore snow cover hiding the beautiful accents will not be a worry.  This is an OUTDOOR Arrangement and not suited to indoor decor. Photo of completed arrangement to be posted soon.
  • A NEW  WORKSHOP!  Let’s try a new design for this favourite workshop to create an illuminated table centrepiece! We’ll use a classic ceramic container prepped with fresh floral foam that participants will fill with fragrant, specialty, fresh mixed evergreens (pine, BC cedar, boxwood, variegated boxwood, fir), pine cones and light floral and dried accents . To light up the unit, a new LED old-school lantern will be added to the centre of the arrangement, sitting amid the greens.  Colour choices of lantern and ceramic dish will be:  red, white or black and, upon arrival you can decide your choices. All materials are included in this indoor arrangement workshop. Photo is of lanterns only; full workshop project pic coming soon!

Big Bay Laurel, $40.00 What a find! Bay Laurel Plants (a herb that is used in cooking) are such a difficult-to-find plant for us to source, and we did it!  AND the specimens we secured are BIG!  Presenting in 7” pots, these herbs will be usable early in the season, and the aromatic leaves will keep producing all Summer.  It is best to grow in a planter so you can bring this beauty indoors for Winter, keeping it for many years to come.  Bay Laurel grows slowly, hence its elusiveness, and finding ones larger than wee ones in 4” pots is rare.  Prebook Pick-Up:  May 01, 02, 03, 04 only.

Big Boston Ferns, $55.00 Last year, we sourced large 12” hanging pots of fluffy Boston Ferns from a southern grower. This year, we wished to find a Canadian grower – and we did!  Arriving as nicely grown plants in generous 12” hanging pots (a standard fern is usually in 9-10” pots, limiting its growth potential), these big beauties will be perfect on your porch all Summer, getting HUGE by the Fall.  Prebook Pick-Up:  May 07, 08, 09, 10 only

We often can’t order in enough of this plant, so it’s a bonus to have so many available in this prebook. One-gallon pot, Ontario zone 3, sun-loving perennial. Prebook Pick-Up:  June 04, 05, 06, 07 only

Saturday March 28, 1:00 p.m. Pantone has named Cloud Dancer as the Color of the Year for 2026. Described as a soft, airy, and billowy white, this shade is intended to offer a "whisper of calm" and a serene, neutral foundation to combat a chaotic world, emphasizing quiet reflection and intentional simplicity.  Participants in this workshop will experience the calm in the creation of a beautiful white and green arrangement in a milky white 10” glass planter. A double stem orchid plant will be the feature and surrounding it will be a selection of white blooming accent plants and soft green foliage.  A sweet "tweet" white ceramic bird figurine will be nestled amongst the plants, along with decorative moss. Beautiful!  Do note that is workshop has been created in the spirit of the Colour of the Year, there will not be any traditionally “colourful” plants included in this workshop, only tones of white and green. This is an elegant planter for indoor decor, perhaps on a kitchen island or dining table. As always, care, advice and education will be discussed as the group works alongside your host, Vikki and the Design Team.
