The remainder of the fee will be payable upon arrival to the Workshop) A NEW Collaborative Workshop – "Woven Wonder" Saturday March 23, 1:00pm We’ve created a  new project in collaboration with “The Branch Ranch” in Warkworth and we think you will love it!  The first hour of this hands-on workshop will be working with Jessica to create a willow woven obelisk that will sit on the rim of a country/modern chic square planter consisting of black metal and reclaimed wood.  While learning weaving techniques she will also guide you to make a small willow birdnest.  Next, Vikki will take over and guide participants in planting a Spring arrangement full of ranunculus, pre-sprouted hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, fluffy ferns, trailing ivy, blooming calandivia, pussy willows and foliage fillers.  The birdnest, nestled with a few faux eggs and birdies, will tuck in for a magical Springtime design! Total height of the planter is 22”; the wooden planting vessel can be separated from the metal base to be used as a tabletop planter or the whole unit can styled as a compliment to your furniture.  A unique design! The remainder of the fee will be payable upon arrival to the Workshop) Some Bunny Loves You Workshop Saturday March 23, 10:00 a.m. The unique wooden and metal planter from the “Woven Wonder Workshop” comes in a set of two – while the larger is this afternoon’s workshop, let’s use the smaller size (overall height 13”) to create a beautiful tabletop planter for Spring in the morning session! In the reclaimed wood, square planter,  participants will plant a selection of Spring bloomers such as primula, ranunculus, pre-sprouted bulbs, green houseplants, begonias, calandivia and more.  As a finished product, the wooden planter will be mounted on the black metal stand, and your arrangement will be full and lush, accented with decorative mosses, pussy willows plus a whimsical, light-up, rabbit face peeking out from amid the foliage. $55.00 per person + HST - ($20.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot; remainder of your fee is payable upon arrival to the workshop) Outdoor Spring Beauty Saturday April 13th 10:00 a.m. Using a simple 12” black container (that can be a stand-along pot or an urn insert), participants will plant 6-7 spring bloomers into a beautiful outdoor arrangement. Plant choices will include: multicolours of hardy primula, ranunculus, pre-sprouted bulbs, pansies, campanula, ivy and more. While planting, design techniques and care information will be discussed. Finishing touches such as adding moss, pussy willows and décor sticks will complete the beautiful planter that will last until early June (Spring plants prefer cooler temperatures). Note: there is an option to include a perennial hellebore into your arrangement. The extra fee for your choice of hellebore will be payable at the end of the workshop.
