$135.00 + HST ($20.00 + HST non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The remainder of the fee will be payable upon arrival to the Workshop) A NEW Collaborative Workshop – "Woven Wonder" Saturday March 23, 1:00pm We’ve created a new project in collaboration with “The Branch Ranch” in Warkworth and we think you will love it! The first hour of this hands-on workshop will be working with Jessica to create a willow woven obelisk that will sit on the rim of a country/modern chic square planter consisting of black metal and reclaimed wood. While learning weaving techniques she will also guide you to make a small willow birdnest. Next, Vikki will take over and guide participants in planting a Spring arrangement full of ranunculus, pre-sprouted hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, fluffy ferns, trailing ivy, blooming calandivia, pussy willows and foliage fillers. The birdnest, nestled with a few faux eggs and birdies, will tuck in for a magical Springtime design! Total height of the planter is 22”; the wooden planting vessel can be separated from the metal base to be used as a tabletop planter or the whole unit can styled as a compliment to your furniture. A unique design! To register for this Workshop, a $20.00 + HST non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The remainder of the fee will be payable upon arrival to the Workshop. -
Friday March 13, 1:00 p.m. Bring a friend or student who is off on this Friday PD Day to our fun workshop where two projects are made. This workshop is appropriate for anyone 5-99 years old! Only you? No problem, you can do both projects and we can help if you require assistance. In the theme of Spring participants will fill these two tin planters (one is a watering can, the other an oval) with a selection of pre-sprouted bulbs such as tulips, daffodils or hyacinths, small ferns and houseplants along with accents of pussy willows and moss. These planters are for indoor decor now, but could be redesigned for outdoor use once the weather warms up. As always, care, advice and education will be discussed as the group works alongside your host, Vikki and the Design Team. -

NEW SPRING WORKSHOP - YOU CHOOSE YOUR STYLE! Thursday April 02, 6:00 p.m. or Saturday April 04, 10:00 a.m. A classic beige ceramic footed planter is the container in this unique workshop. It is 8" round and 5" tall - perfect for the centre of the Easter table or to give as a beautiful hostess gift. Your choice (upon registration) will be to make your design a planted one featuring potted plants such as calla lilies, ranunculus, ivy, ferns, spring bulbs and more or to make a fresh flower arrangement (in water) with an abundance of cut flower stems such as lisianthus, stocks, spray roses, eucalyptus and more. Your designers will be Vikki for the folks who decide to plant and a certified florist for those who decide to make a fresh arrangement. Both designs will be happening at the same time in each session - it will be fun watching each group be creative! Lots of colour choice for both styles will be offered as well as bonus accents like pussy willows, decorative moss (planted version) and seasonal decor picks. A photo of each completed project will be added once the pots are delivered. -

Spring plant choices to fill each pot will include pre-sprouted bulbs, such as tulips, mini daffodils and hyacinths, small houseplants, ferns, ivy and accents such as pussy willows and moss. With registration, one wood and metal planter is included in the price of this workshop. You will choose your planter shape upon arrival; there will be lots of each choice. A new design! In this workshop participants will make two moss kokedama balls with pre-sprouted mini daffodils, jute string, curly willow and other decorative and dried flower accompaniments. Each moss ball will sit on a simple clay saucer. They can be displayed together, or separately in your home. If you get excited and wish to make more, time allows for additional kokedama balls to be made in the workshop for $22.00 each, payable at the end of the session. While one of these sessions will be held during March school break, it is not recommended for young children. Appropriate ages for this workshop are 10-99 years. NOTE: Photo and project idea courtesy of Van H Acres, BC. While the concept is the same, the Griffin's version will be slightly different than pictured. -
Saturday March 28, 1:00 p.m. Pantone has named Cloud Dancer as the Color of the Year for 2026. Described as a soft, airy, and billowy white, this shade is intended to offer a "whisper of calm" and a serene, neutral foundation to combat a chaotic world, emphasizing quiet reflection and intentional simplicity. Participants in this workshop will experience the calm in the creation of a beautiful white and green arrangement in a milky white 10” glass planter. A double stem orchid plant will be the feature and surrounding it will be a selection of white blooming accent plants and soft green foliage. A sweet "tweet" white ceramic bird figurine will be nestled amongst the plants, along with decorative moss. Beautiful! Do note that is workshop has been created in the spirit of the Colour of the Year, there will not be any traditionally “colourful” plants included in this workshop, only tones of white and green. This is an elegant planter for indoor decor, perhaps on a kitchen island or dining table. As always, care, advice and education will be discussed as the group works alongside your host, Vikki and the Design Team. -

Some Folks Come Every Year! Our popular "Winter Sleigh Ride" Workshop will be offered for those who already have the wooden sleigh and wish to "re-green it" and for those who are new to this project. Come one, come all! The wooden sleigh (about 30" long) is a sturdy construction and colour choices are natural and painted red and black. Participants will strap on a foam block and 'green it up" with boxwood, pine, cedar and silver fir evergreen snipets. A bow and accents decorate it to your personal style. This is an outdoor project; it can not remain indoors for more than 1-2 days (greens will dry out). The string allows it to be hung or it can lean against the wall/fence. Participants will use a fluffy pre-made evergreen wreath as the base to embellish with snipets of deluxe evergreens such as silver fir, western cedar, boxwood and arborvitae plus magnolia leaves, pinecones, berries (real and faux) and a bow. As this method of wreath making is done with paddle wire we can accommodate more participants in each session (18) - don't worry, lots of staff will be available to help you create a masterpiece! The Grinch is back! Attending this super popular workshop is tradition for many of you! We're happy to be back "grinching" it up with you again this year. This is a family friendly workshop, great for all ages, but most-enjoyed by ages 7/8-adult. Using a lovely 6" round tin container and fresh floral foam, participants will twist up a branch of "leyland cypress" so it bends like the last tree in a Who-ville home once the Grinch got his greedy hands on all of the goodies. Fresh evergreen boughs (boxwood, pine and cedar) will be added at the base, along with light fresh flowers and a final touch of an ornament on the tip of the main branch. Whimsical and fun for the holidays! Photo is of a Grinch project from a previous year; 2025 project will have a different pot. -
