Back by popular demand! Winter Gnomes continue to be popular as fun outdoor decor. Using a metal frame, participants will create bundles of fresh evergreens that will attach to the frame, covering the body of the gnome. Layers and layers of evergreens will create a full body (no thin gnomes in this workshop!). A beard will be attached, using Silver Fir, and then his hat, nose and mittens will be affixed. Give your gnome a name before you leave - we'll help you come up with something clever! -

Saturday March 28, 1:00 p.m. Pantone has named Cloud Dancer as the Color of the Year for 2026. Described as a soft, airy, and billowy white, this shade is intended to offer a "whisper of calm" and a serene, neutral foundation to combat a chaotic world, emphasizing quiet reflection and intentional simplicity. Participants in this workshop will experience the calm in the creation of a beautiful white and green arrangement in a milky white 10” glass planter. A double stem orchid plant will be the feature and surrounding it will be a selection of white blooming accent plants and soft green foliage. A sweet "tweet" white ceramic bird figurine will be nestled amongst the plants, along with decorative moss. Beautiful! Do note that is workshop has been created in the spirit of the Colour of the Year, there will not be any traditionally “colourful” plants included in this workshop, only tones of white and green. This is an elegant planter for indoor decor, perhaps on a kitchen island or dining table. As always, care, advice and education will be discussed as the group works alongside your host, Vikki and the Design Team. -
This is a newly added workshop! In a 12" basic black pot participants will use a natural 14" grapevine wreath as the focal element. After cutting to appropriate sizes, layers of fresh and fragrant evergreens will be added (pine, cedars, boxwood, silver fir) along with magnolia leaves (not pictured in sample photo). Dogwood will add an element of height and drama and a trip to our "Accent Buffet" will offer an additional 5 pods, pinecones or other accents to completely personalize the arrangement. This beautiful arrangement will last outdoors until March - a truly Winter display! -

A NEW Two Piece Creation! The choice of container will be a rustic wooden crate (13x18x9H, natural tone) that participants fill with freshly cut mixed evergreens and accent with natural elements such as sedum, hydrangea and dogwood. A trip to the "Accent Buffet" will allow participants to choose three additional accents for personalization. Next, participants will design a door swag to match! The same evergreens and accents will be used, arranged in a fan fashion and all tied with a beautiful bow. The two pieces can be used separately or as a combo at the front door. Please allow 2.25 hours for this multiple project workshop. -
NEW Project for 2026! $100.00 + HST This is a fun alternative to an evergreen hanging basket! You will create a very unique hanging arrangement with a 14” foldable metal globe (with hanging chain) that will have a apparatus attached to the saucer allowing high quality mixed evergreens to be added, along with colourful natural accents. In the middle of all will be a battery operated RAINLITE candle that performs well (with a timer) in outdoor conditions – great value! This is an OUTDOOR project. We suggest that this arrangement will best hang in a sheltered space, like under a covered porch or awning. With the RAINLIGHT candle it can be exposed to elements, but it's not advised for it to be continually covered in snow, for your best enjoyment. Bonus: with the evergreens removed, this whole unit will look amazing in the Summer too! A better photo to come soon, when all materials are in-stock. -
Sunday November 29, 1:00 p.m. Using an elegant 9" round, gloss, low white ceramic container, you will nestle in a beautiful, potted, double spike white orchid. This will be your focal plant that will attract a lot of attention! Then, after adding regular indoor soil mix around the orchid (in it's specialized soil), 5-7 potted seasonal bloomers and foliages will be planted to create a fresh, elegant and long-lasting arrangement. In our workshop you will have lots of choice of high quality potted plants: cyclamen, poinsettia, cypress trees, frosty ferns, norfolk and stone pines, ivy, ferns, kalanchoe, small houseplants and more. Further accents, like moss, pinecones, willow and dogwood will be incorporated for a unique indoor design. Classic and beautiful! -

NEW! Fall Elegance Saturday September 12th, 2:00 p.m. $100.00 + HST Your home might be a modern design or you might enjoy a sleek look (less of a country vibe) for your Fall decor - we've got you covered! Our container for this workshop is beautiful: a 12" black metal container with scrolled legs (overall height of container is 24"). Tres elegant! This will be an outdoor arrangement we recommend for under a porch or sheltered from extreme weather. The planter will be filled with fresh potting soil and participants will design a beautiful arrangement using 6-7 Fall-inspired annuals and/or foliage plants. Choices will be plentiful and include: ornamental grasses, rudbeckia, mums, asters, ornamental kale/cabbage, ivy, croton, heather, celosia, sedum and more. All materials are included. Vikki will be your instructor. Containers are limited and can not be re-ordered; we can offer this workshop to only 20 participants. -
Sunday November 15, 1:00 p.m. NEW! A 30” tall black metal scroll stand has a 12” round metal planter that settles in and that is the container for this workshop. It’s an elegant look and the accompanying arrangement you make will elevate that further! Amid the mixed greens we add in as a base, groupings of lush pinecones, pods, stumps of birch and faux berries will become the main feature. This will be a very accent heavy design, with the fresh evergreens as the accent, not the other way around, as we usually offer. We suggest this arrangement best to sit under a covered porch or awning area (outdoors), therefore snow cover hiding the beautiful accents will not be a worry. This is an OUTDOOR Arrangement and not suited to indoor decor. Photo of completed arrangement to be posted soon. -

A NEW WORKSHOP! We’ve found a supplier to recreate the metal angel we made popular in our area in the 1990’s! This black metal three-dimensional angel frame stands 34” tall and has a ring at mid-height for a 10" pot to sit; our project is to design an evergreen arrangement in the accompanying pot that will become the focal point of this beautiful addition to your outdoor Winter décor. Amongst the mixed evergreens we’ll use, accents will be offered: pinecones, natural pods, faux berries and more. Your angel can be a feature this season and in other seasons too – how pretty will it be with the pot filled with pansies amid your tulips next Spring? Don’t miss out – we have limited angels for this new design project! NOTE: Our project for this workshop will be larger than pictured. Full project photo to be posted when all materials are on-site. -
This is a newly added workshop! Saturday November 14, 1:00 p.m. In a 23" tall square red and black tin planter participants will add a small cut evergreen tree as the focal element. Layers of fresh and fragrant evergreens will be added (pine, cedars, boxwood, silver fir) to create a full and lush arrangement. Dogwood will add an element of height and drama and a trip to our "Accent Buffet" will offer an additional 5 pods, pinecones or other accents to completely personalize the arrangement. This beautiful arrangement will last outdoors until March as a classic Winter display. And, off-season, this funky container can be used as a drinks holder or spray paint it to create a fun Summer planter! The top bucket does detatch from the legs for easy transport. -
Sunday November 08, 10:00 a.m. A simple, tall, square plastic black pot (16”) will be filled full using a 3 foot cut evergreen top resembling a wee Christmas Tree (you can add lights to it when you get home), quality mixed evergreens (pine, BC Silver Fir and Cedar), magnolia, dried hydrangeas, one super-sized pine cone and metal stake to hang our new LED old-school lantern to guide friends and family to your porch. This will be a BIG feature in your outdoor Winter décor that will last throughout the Winter! Updated photo that includes the lantern (and not the cabin shown) will be posted soon.
