Pick Up Times: April 11-19** The planter in this value-conscious DIY Kit is a 8” wicker basket, lined with protective plastic, featuring the sentiment of “Home and Flowers” – two of our favourite things! Along with detailed written instructions our kit will provide all needed to be successful: fresh potting soil, moss, pussy willows, décor pick, faux Easter egg and, of course, plants! This small indoor arrangement will be full and lush for your holiday table when you follow the instructions to plant the primula, fern, ivy, mini daffodil and polkadot plant, all included! NEW SPRING WORKSHOP for OUTDOOR DECOR! Saturday March 29, 1:00 p.m. Note: CANCELLED due to poor weather; RESCHEDULED to Sunday April 06, 1 pm A gorgeous teal metal coal bucket planter is the container to fill with beautiful Spring plants. The unit is 13" oblong and a perfect as a country-inspired outdoor arrangement. It will be fantastic on your porch steps or small bistro table. Caution will be required in the early days and this arrangement will need to come in on nights where temperature is below minus 1 or 2 degrees; otherwise, it will love the cool temps outdoors throughout April. Each participant will choose six seasonal Spring plants from a selection including pre-sprouted tulips, mini daffodils, hyacinths and muscari along with ranunculus, primula and pansies. Mosses, sticks, pussy willows and accents will be offered to complete the planter. As always, care, advice and education will be discussed as the group works alongside your host, Vikki and the Design Team. Choice of colours and plants will ensure your creation is very unique - unique to you! -

What a fun DIY Kit! An 11” oval tin planter is the container for this project. It is watertight so the written DIY instructions will guide you in adding in a block of fresh floral foam, mixed evergreens (pine, boxwood and BC cedar). You will add a battery operated ivory pillar candle (batteries included) and a 6” woodland gnome holding a bottlebrush tree. This will be the focal point of your arrangement; accents will include short dogwood sticks and pinecones. Complimenting this muted pallet will be several stems of blue-green dried eucalyptus with instructions on how to scatter it throughout the arrangement for textural interest and remarkable fragrance. The instructions will guide you on how to care for this arrangement so it lasts well into January. This is a fun DIY Kit to teach your children some kid-friendly basics of floral design! It's a super activity for visiting grandchildren or friends and neighbours. Using a 4" tin planter embossed with colourful reindeer images, a piece of wet floral foam will be added and then filled with snipets of fresh evergreens. A selection of fragrant and fresh evergreens (pine, cedar and boxwood) will be included in the kit. Pinecones, dogwood, a wooden Santa accent and balls to represent Rudolf's shiny nose will be added too. We'll be planting houseplants and designing with fresh cut flowers - the best of both worlds! The unit is 12" oblong and perfect as an indoor table arrangement that will be a showpiece on your Easter table as a centrepiece. Each participant will choose five foliage plants from a selection including fluffy ferns, textured peperomia, syngonium, ivy and more. An abundance of choices will ensure yours will be one-of-a-kind! Once planted, we will choose fresh cut flowers in an Easter/pastel colour scheme (ranunculus, lisianthus, eucalytpus, waxflower) and put stems into water picks to slide amongst the potted plants - they will last throughout the holiday, and then after removed, the green plants will live on! Mosses, sticks, pussy willows and Easter-themed accents will be offered to complete this gorgeous planter.
